Hally Mason | An Expression for the Wild

Hally Mason is a contemporary artist based in Northumberland, creating expressive animal paintings that reinterpret the natural world through a distinctive, modern lens.

Rooted in a deep connection to the countryside, her practice explores the character, movement and presence of animals through bold colour, layered abstraction and intuitive mark-making.

Her work balances the recognisable with the abstract, capturing not simply the appearance of an animal, but the feeling of its presence.

Through her practice, Hally invites a fresh perspective on the natural world, creating pieces that bring a sense of character, atmosphere and connection into the spaces we call home.
